I didn’t always know I wanted to be a plastic surgeon. I grew up in a small town in Texas with no medical role models. I’ve always loved math, science, and 3D problem-solving.
However, it wasn’t until I became a tutor to support myself in college that I found a passion for teaching, communication, and finding ways to make complicated information easy for people to understand. When I realized that doctors get to use these skills to directly help others, I knew it was the path for me.
I enjoy understanding the patient’s goals and anatomy to create a personalized surgical plan. I’m grateful to be a part of Amelia where patient education and communication are valued.
