As a Business and Finance Intern, you will play a vital role in Amelia’s future growth and success. You will work with our surgical, medspa and health leads to reconcile accounts, develop financial forecasts and use analytics to identify trends.

Your Impact (Essential Duties)

• Help reconcile accounts
• Help develop financial forecasts and perform financial modeling
• Help review financial statements and help identify potential issues for discussion
• Manage assigned tasks and workload with guidance from supervisors to meet project deadlines
• Communicate progress to team members and actively participate in team meetings
• Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership  

Your Background

• REQUIRED: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Understanding of basic accounting
• Proficiency in learning and utilizing Excel, Google Sheets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Accurate mathematical and accounting skills
• Willingness to learn

Compensation and Benefits

• This is an hourly position at a competitive rate
• Seeking a candidate able to work at least 30 hours a week for much of the summer
