Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinic Manager (RN) who is responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, exceptional patient experience, and strict adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards. This role serves as the primary in-clinic problem solver, supporting real-time operational needs while partnering closely with the Clinical Director.
The Clinic Manager provides direct oversight of clinical staff, manages scheduling and time-off coverage, supports inventory and supply management, and leads quality improvement and chart audit initiatives to maintain AAAASF (QUAD A) readiness. This position plays a key role in patient safety, issue escalation, and staff development, while fostering clear communication, accountability, and a high standard of clinical excellence throughout the clinic.
Responsibilities
- This position requires a Registered Nurse to:
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient and smooth flow of patient consultations, pre-op appointments, post-op visits, and provider follow-ups
- Work with Lead MA to monitor patient wait times and optimize clinic efficiency to enhance the patient experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for in-clinic problem-solving and real-time issue resolution
- Assist Clinical Director with Regulatory Compliance as outlined by AAAASF
- Maintain strict adherence to QUAD A standards, including documentation, protocols, and readiness for inspections
- Maintain monthly sequelae log and work with Clinical Director to identify any trends or concerns
- Perform regular chart audits and quality improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation readiness
- Inventory Control
- Directly assist the Lead MA in proactively managing backorders and supply shortages, coordinating with vendors and escalating to Clinical Director when substitutions or alternatives are required, or assistance is needed
- Ensure cost-conscious purchasing that is aligned with the practice
- Team Oversight and Time-Off Management
- Directly oversee FNPs, Lead MA, and Pre-Op RNs
- Approve and track PTO requests for clinic staff, maintaining adequate coverage and avoiding disruption to the schedule. Fill in as needed for any clinic roles.
- Oversee Patient Safety & Experience
- Address patient complaints or concerns related to their experience with Clinical Director
- Monitor and report any adverse events or near misses, supporting root cause analysis and improvement efforts
- Review and sign off on patient and MD requested medical records, escalate to Clinical Director as needed
- Enhance Communication & Collaboration while serving as the key liaison between the clinic team and the Clinical Director
- Willingness to assist in the OR, PACU setting as needed
- Hold meetings with primary pre-op RN, lead MA, and FNP team to identify any challenges or needs and communicate these meeting items with the Clinical Director weekly
- Ensure that the Daily Stand Up slack channel is being utilized properly
- Communicate patient needs, special considerations, or complications to the appropriate person on the team as needed
- Identify inefficiencies in clinic operations and implement improvements with support from the Clinical Director
- Provide regular feedback to the Clinical Director regarding clinic morale, workflows, and staff performance. Collaborate with the Clinical Director on direct report performance management, including coaching, documentation, and disciplinary processes
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new staff, reinforcing expectations for excellence, grace, professionalism, and safety

Compensation
$75,000-$85,000 per year
