Gianna has more than a decade of healthcare experience, beginning her career as a patient care technician in the intensive care unit before becoming a registered nurse in adult critical care. She later traveled coast to coast as a travel nurse, caring for critically ill adults in ICUs across the country.
Caring for this population shaped Gianna's philosophy of health and challenged her to look beyond the traditional reactive model of care. She came to believe that the body tells a story through its symptoms, and that those symptoms are worth listening to, asking questions about, and understanding rather than simply addressing in isolation.
