I didn’t always know I wanted to be a plastic surgeon. I grew up in a smaller Texas town with no medical role models. I supported myself through college as a math/science tutor and found that I had a passion for teaching/communication. I love finding ways to take complicated information and make it easy for people to understand. I have always loved math, science, and 3D problem solving. When I realized that doctors get to use these skills to directly help others, I knew it was the path for me. I enjoy analyzing patient goals and anatomy to help develop a personalized surgical plan. I am grateful to be a part of Amelia where patient education and communication is valued.  My goal is to create an environment where patients feel comfortable and informed enough to make decisions that best fit their lives.
