Dr. Sandhu’s background blends rigorous surgical training with a deep commitment to patient experience and thoughtful, individualized care. His training through the SELECT program gives him a unique perspective on how to deliver care that is not only technically excellent, but also compassionate, efficient, and centered around your individualized needs.

He is known for his approachable, detail-oriented style and his ability to create an environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and fully understanding their options. Dr. Sandhu prioritizes open, clear communication and works closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals. His goal is not just exceptional results, but an experience that feels supportive, collaborative, and empowering from start to finish.

education & experience

Dr. Sandhu earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, where he was selected for the prestigious SELECT (Scholarly Excellence, Leadership Experience, and Collaborative Training) Program. This program provided advanced training in health systems, patient-centered care, leadership, and emotional intelligence. In 2018, Dr. Sandhu was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Society for his demonstration of strong leadership.

Dr. Sandhu also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from the University of South Florida, graduating cum laude. During his undergraduate studies, he minored in both Psychology and Spanish, further shaping his ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.

He went on to complete his plastic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he developed comprehensive expertise across reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
